Identification of Student Drop Off and Pick Up Areas:

Parents may drop off students in the gymnasium parking lot in the morning starting at 8:05 a.m. There are signs directing parents to the drop off area.  Parents may pick up their child starting at 3:15 p.m. in the gymnasium parking lot.  Signs will be posted in the gymnasium parking lot to assist with traffic pattern.

Directional Flow of Traffic:

Parents must enter through the entrance of the gymnasium parking lot to drop off/pick up their child and leave through the exit.  Parents must also enter through the entrance of the Main Office parking lot for an appointment and leave through the exit.  Signs are clearly posted at each location.

Procedures for Pulling Up to the School:

At the parent pick up/drop off location in the gymnasium parking lot, the school staff will direct traffic so that parents will pull toward the front of the parking lot.  Parents are to pull up in the loop as far as possible to allow traffic to flow more smoothly.  This is in an effort to deter parents from attempting to drop off students on Lydell Drive.

Procedures for Student Pickup:

Parents will be directed to pull forward and park in the gymnasium parking lot as they did at the student drop off location.  They will have to pull forward toward Lydell Drive and wait for their child to arrive.  During the school day, if a parent or visitor is found parking in the front loop during any other time besides parent drop off, they will be asked to move their vehicle immediately and park in the designated parking area.
